| The SENSEI Story "I'd never heard the word 'sensei' when the person we hired to conceive the company name shared this wonderful word with me. I loved the sound of it. Also, its meaning wasn't literal. I knew that if I asked five people, each one would have a different response and definition, which intrigued me. | |

| And, frankly, I was flattered. That from others' articulation and from my talking about how I practiced and how I hoped the company would practice our art, our craft, our profession, a word that had to do with 'mastery', 'agility', 'interaction', 'educating', 'learning from teaching', would apply. | |

| Then I instantly heard the 'sense' and 'say'-- parsing the word. Sensing is what I think we do really well; intuiting is a gift I have, and seek and encourage in others. Saying is at the heart of communications!" |
